Beginner “Zenith” defender Robert Renan flew to St. Petersburg, said the wife of the Brazilian football player on social networks.
Earlier, reported that the Brazilian is expected to have his first training session with the Russian team on February 20.
Renan became a Zenith player in January following the trade of striker Yuri Alberto to Corinthians. As part of the deal, the Saint Petersburg club have been granted the right of first refusal to buy Corinthians winger Pedro.
During the Zenit training camp, Renan, in the Brazilian youth team, became the winner of the South American Championship for players under 20.
The Russian football season will resume on February 22 with the matches of the FONBET Russian Cup. On March 3, the WORLD RPL draw will continue.
