Senegal beat Nigeria, midfielder Dynamo took part in the goal attack
Midfielder Dynamo Samba Diallo was recognized the best player of the opening match of the Senegal U20 team on Youth Africa Cup of Nations.
In the first match, the Senegalese defeated their peers from Nigeria (1:0). Diallo, who took his team to the field with the captain’s armband, took part in the scoring attack.
The Senegal U20 team led group A. On February 22, the Senegalese will play with Mozambique (16:00 Kyiv time), and on February 25 they will play with Egypt (19:00).
Earlier, Samba scored for Senegal U20 in test matches with the national teams of Zambia (1:0) and Tunisia (2:1).
The U20 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Egypt from February 19 to March 11. The top two teams from the group will advance to the quarter-finals, as well as the top two third-placed teams.
