Owner Naples Aurelio De Laurentiis said the club tried to acquire Khvichu Kvaratskhelia . However, the Neapolitans couldn’t agree with Rubin on the Georgian footballer’s transfer fee.
Khvicha was on our list three years ago. We wanted to sign him, he was already a top player at the time. But his club demanded €30m which is too much, according to De Laurentiis insider Fabrizio Romano.
Napoli bought Hvicha in the summer of 2022 for €10m.
In the current Italian league season, Kvaratskhelia has played 19 games in which he has scored 10 goals and made 9 assists.
