The Union of European Football Associations has decided on the referees for the return game of the European Cup tournament.

The return match of the 1/16 finals of the Conference League playoffs between Dnipro-1 and AEK will be led by a referee team from Latvia. This is UEFA’s official website.

The future chief judge is Andris Treimanis, 38 years old. Compatriots Haralds Gudermanis and Mārtiņš Svipsts will help him on the line. The fourth referee was Aleksandrs Golubevs.

Dutchman Rob Dieperink will be responsible for the VAR system. His assistant was Erwin Blank.

It should be noted that Treimanis has crossed paths twice with Ukrainian teams in European competitions up to this point and the representatives of our country have never lost under his refereeing. The Zorya-Charleroi match in 2015 ended in a 3-0 win for Lugansk, while Lyon and Shakhtar drew 2-2 in 2018.

Remember that the game Dnepr-1 – AEK will be held on February 23 in Kosice, Slovakia. Starting at 19.45 Kyiv time.
