Brighton hope to keep ex-Shakhtar coach
Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi interested Milanas well as several other top clubs in Serie A.
The Seagulls intend to keep the Italian specialist. De Zerbi’s contract, which runs until 2026, includes a high release clause. Brighton’s chances will increase if the team manages to qualify for European competition next season.
Earlier it was reported that De Zerbi could lead Juventus in the summer. Other applicants for a job at the Turin club include Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte and former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.
Former Shakhtar coach De Zerby took over Brighton in September 2022. The Seagulls are seventh in the Premier League with 35 points. De Zerby’s next match will be against Stoke City in the FA Cup on 28 February.
