Napoli beat Eintracht Frankfurt in a match with a penalty and a missed penalty

Victor Osimhen and Giovanni Di Lorenzo distinguished themselves as part of the guests

Napoli beat on the road Eintracht in the first match of the 1/8 finals Champions League — 2:0.

The guests had the opportunity to open an account in the middle of the first half, but Khvicha Kvaratskhelia missed the penalty. Four minutes later, Napoli still took the lead – Victor Osimhen scored.

In the second half, Eintracht remained in the minority. Forward Randal Colo-Muani stepped on the opponent’s leg with spikes in the attack, for which he received a direct red card. In the minority, the hosts conceded the second goal – Giovanni Di Lorenzo scored after a heel pass from Kvaratskhelia.

The second leg in Naples will take place on 15 March. Luciano Spalletti’s wards will play their next match on February 25 with Empoli in Serie A. Eintracht will play away with Leipzig in the Bundesliga on the same day.
