The team of Igor Jovicevich beat Rennes in the first match of the 1/16 finals of the LE – 2: 1. The victory for Shakhtar was brought by goals from Dmitry Kryskiv and Artem Bondarenko.

The second leg in France will take place on 23 February. The fight will start at 22:00 Kyiv time. The meeting will be served by the German team of referees headed by Tobias Stieler.
