Cesena-Reggiana, record-breaking Orogel stadium: record attendance in C

The match with Reggiana was a record one. 17,130 visitors registered yesterday atOrogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi actually set a new record for all domestic games played by Cavalluccio in Serie C. The previous one belonged to the derby against Rimini (return play-off semi-final) on 6 June 2004, with 16,221 spectators. Not only that, Cesena-Reggiana also became the match with the most fans this season among all three Serie C groups. Also, in this case, the Juventus club improved itself and 14,023 spectators who created another derby with Rimini, namely past January 8th. Thus, Cesena places two matches on the first two steps of the podium completed by Pescara-Catanzaro, which was attended by 12,994 spectators. Based on the data collected by stadiapostcards.com, in the current season Cesena thus confirms itself as the most popular club among all sixty clubs in the Pro League: in 14 matches played at the Orogel Stadium, Bianchi and his companions collected 124,771 viewer with an average of 8912 per game. In second place is Catanzaro with 106,212 registered visits but with one more match (average 7,081), in third place is Vicenza with 103,915 (average 7,423).
