Lesya was unable to continue the fight with the Czech Sinyakova
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko on failure lost in the first round main draw of the tournament WTA 250 in Mexican Merida.
In a match with Katerina Sinyakova from the Czech Republic, Tsurenko lost in the first set. In the course of the game, she lost 3:5, managed to level the score, but then the Ukrainian woman gave up her serve and lost the set on the opponent’s serve. At the beginning of the second game, Tsurenko decided not to continue the fight.
Note that Sinyakova is the first racket of the world in doubles and ranks 47th in the individual WTA ranking.
In January, Tsurenko withdrew from the semifinal match at the ITF W60 tournament in Canberra, Australia. Before that, the Ukrainian left the tournament in Portoroz (Slovenia) ahead of schedule, where she was supposed to play with Elena Rybakina in the quarterfinals.
Previously withdrew from the tournament in Merida Katherine Beindl. The Ukrainian was supposed to play in the first round against Tatyana Maria from Germany, but left the competition due to a hip injury.
