The former player and head coach of the Ukrainian national team held a charity evening in Italy.
Andriy Shevchenko continues to raise money to help Ukraine in the war against Russian troops. This time, the former player and head coach of the national team held a charity evening in Milan, where they raised funds for the restoration of the stadium in Irpen.
The flag with the signature of Vladimir Zelensky became the main lot. The Serie A Football Club League acquired it for 110,000 euros. In total, 150 thousand euros were collected during the night.
“I want to thank United Onlus for their exceptional support on the occasion of United’s charity night for Ukraine. The funds raised will allow the stadium to be restored to Irpin, my persecuted country. I am happy and grateful.
I also thank Giorgio Armani for his constant support, Milan who is always with us, Serie A with all its clubs, which, on the occasion of the evening in Milan, with their response and generosity, will be decisive in achieving an important goal. Thank you, Italy,” Shevchenko wrote.
