Inter minimally won Porto in the first match of the 1/8 finals Champions League — 1:0.
In the first half, the Nerazzurri had more possession of the ball and more often threatened the opponent’s goal, but Hakan Calhanoglu and Alessandro Bastoni did not convert their chances.

In the 78th minute, the Portuguese team was left with ten men – Otavio received a second yellow card. Inter took advantage of the numerical majority and got the victory thanks to a goal from Romel Lukaku in the 86th minute.
