Athletistic/ Football. Today, February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree granting Russian citizenship to Zenit footballers Malcolm and Claudinho. This was voiced by former football player of the St. Petersburg club Fernando Meira.
– I think that if Malcolm and Claudinho had such an opportunity to obtain Russian citizenship, they should have used it calmly, as they do in other countries. Why not? We also have players naturalized in Portugal. It’s good! I think it’s part of modern football,” said Meira SE.
