Kalush forward Andrei Krivonozhkin chalked up a hat-trick
Legion beat Kharkiv Berserkers in the regular season Ukrainian ice hockey championship – 8:4.
The Kharkiv team opened the scoring, but even in the first period the Legion took the lead, scoring four goals. In the second 20-minute period, the Berserkers reduced the gap to a minimum, but the Kalush team took the lead again.
The last period was again for the Legion, the final goal was scored by the Kalush team 28 seconds before the siren. Forward Andrey Krivonozhkin became the most productive player of the match, scoring a hat-trick and giving an assist.
The Berserkers lost the 19th match in a row and lost the chance to rise from the last place in the Ukrainian Championship. Legion is in fourth place with 39 points.
