The main requirements for the admission of spectators are a sufficient number of places in the shelter and the permission of local military administrations
Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) is considering the option of limited admission of fans to the stands in the matches of the Ukrainian Premier League this season, said the President of the UAF Andrey Pavelko.
“At the initiative and at the request of the clubs, the UAF is now in dialogue with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and regional military administrations to implement the possibility of limited access for fans to the stands. First of all, these can be soldiers who were injured and need social rehabilitation because of the football of their favorite teams, but not only them.”
“In conditions of a full-scale war, theaters, cinemas and concert halls are working. Why can’t a limited number of spectators (with strict adherence to the appropriate security protocol) watch a football match?
“Of course, options for the admission of fans to matches are considered only at those stadiums where there are appropriate conditions for this, in particular, a sufficient number of places in shelters. In addition, the implementation of this idea is possible only if the club-organizer of the match receives permission from the relevant regional military administration and law enforcement officers.
In the UPL, Dnipro-1 is leading, which is five points ahead of Shakhtar and Dynamo. The spring part of the season started with a postponed match of the sixth round between Alexandria and Metalist 1925 (3:3).
