Ukrainian football clubs want to hold matches with the support of fans.
The President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko shared his opinion on the continuation of the Ukrainian football championship. As part of the postponed sixth round, Alexandria drew with Metalist 1925 (3:3).
Pavelko published a post on Facebook in which he said that fans can return to the stands.
“The opening match of the spring part of the championship Oleksandriya – Metalist 1925 took place without spectators. But on the initiative and at the request of the clubs, the UAF is now talking to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and regional that military administrations to enforce the possibility of limited entry of fans in the stands.”

“In the conditions of an all-out war, theaters, cinemas and concert halls operate. Why can’t a limited number of spectators (with strict adherence to the relevant security protocol) watch a fight in football? “wrote Pavelko.
