The Ukrainian specialist will lead the national team until the start of Sergei Rebrov’s contract, with which the UAF executive committee continues to negotiate.
So, Rotan will be the coach of the Blue-Yellows in the match against England, which will take place on March 16 this year and will be the first to be selected for the European Championship 2024.
The UAF statement also states that the contract with Rebrov, who will take over the national team after Rotan, will be valid until June 30, 2024 with the possibility of an extension until 2026.
So, Ruslan Rotan currently leads three teams at once: the youth and national teams of Ukraine, as well as the UPL representative Oleksandriya.
