No one is willing to pay £6bn for a club
Selling Manchester United Maybe will not take place due to the fact that the proposals received do not reach the requested 6 billion pounds.
According to SkySports, the Glazer family is now split over the sale of Manchester United. Avram and Joel Glazer no longer want to make a deal, but other family members are pushing for a sale.
Today, Qatari investors, led by former Prime Minister Jaber Al Thani and British businessman Jim Ratcliffe, are interested in acquiring Manchester United. Al Thani’s initial offer was £5 billion.
It is noted that the transaction will become possible only if the existing proposals are significantly improved.
Recall that the board of directors of Manchester United announced the sale of the club in whole or in part through large external investments. Manchester United owners American businessmen Glazers expect to finalize the deal in the first quarter of 2023.
