The midfielder will play under the 20th number
Carpathians rented midfielder Dnipro-1 Sergei Gorbunov. The player will play in the Lviv club under the 20th number.
Gorbunov previously played for the second team of Shakhtar, Mariupol and Metalist. In the summer, the player moved to Dnepr-1.
The 28-year-old midfielder has played nine games for Dnipro this season, four of them in the Conference League. As part of Dnipro-1, Gorbunov scored two assists in the Ukrainian championship.
Earlier, the Karpaty signed the defender of Inhulets Taras Sakiv. Chornomorets midfielder Ivan Bobko and Metalist midfielder Daniil Knysh also moved to the Karpaty on loan. Prior to that, the Lviv club signed Lvov’s goalkeeper Oleksandr Ilyushchenkov and signed Kryvbas striker Oleksiy Khoblenko on loan.
Karpaty finished the first half of the season in second place in Group A of the First League. The Lvivians were 12 points behind Polissya. The start of the championship round in the First League is scheduled for April 8.
