The Ukrainian recently got a confident victory over Logan Storley
Ukrainian Bellator welterweight champion (up to 77 kg) Yaroslav Amosov in the updated ranking MMA Bellator moved up to third place.
The rating is headed by Bellator featherweight champion (up to 66 kg) Patricio Freire “Pitbull” from Brazil. In second place is Vadim Nemkov.
In May last year, Amosov was supposed to fight Briton Michael Page, but he refused to fight and remained in Ukraine during the period of Russian military aggression.
After the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Amosov joined the ranks of the territorial defense of Irpen, which was under the occupation of Russian troops.
Recently, the Ukrainian returned to the ring and won a confident victory over the American Logan Storley, who held the interim welterweight title.
Amosov became the Bellator Champion in June 2021 by defeating Brazilian Douglas Lima via unanimous decision. Yaroslav became the first Ukrainian to win the organization’s championship title.
