Palmeiras target, Allan should not leave Galo for Brazilian teams

Even with the interest of Palmeiras, Atlético-MG does not want to sell the midfielder Allan to Brazilian clubs and expects proposals from abroad in the next windows

O Atlético-MGrules out the possibility of selling the steering wheel Allan, aged 25, for another Brazilian club. According to the portal “GOAL”, miners expect proposals from abroad in future windows. Before that, Galo is unlikely to release the player to negotiate with another team in Brazil.

With the interest of palm trees, Allan became a recurring agenda on the board of Atlético-MG. However, the club does not expect to trade the player now. So far, there is no formal offer, but the journalist Jorge Nicola says that Verdão is willing to offer up to 12 million euros for the athlete.

Even if the figures are well above 3.5 million euros, the amount that the club from Minas Gerais paid to remove the midfielder from the Liverpool, Atlético has no intention of trading him on the domestic market. Therefore, the only alternative would be to sell it to Europe in the next transfer window, in July 2023. However, there is still no concrete proposal abroad for the player.

According to “GOAL”, the staff and the athlete himself are already aware of the position of the Rooster in the market. Thus, Allan has already been informed that the club only wants to trade him from the middle of the year. In addition, the 25-year-old player is aware that Atlético-MG does not want to strengthen competitors, so he does not want national business.

However, the midfielder still has just over two years left on his contract with Galo, until the end of 2025. Eduardo Coudet, coach of Atlético, the player is one of the pillars of the team. Lately, Allan has been used as a starter frequently, adding five games played in the season.
