Juventus has lodged an appeal with the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) against the club’s withdrawal of 15 points in Serie A, imposed in a “capital gains case”, in which the Italian club is under investigation for having increased the market value of the players in order to receive more income from their transfers and therefore from the financial balance sheet.
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) Court of Appeal had previously explained that the 15-point deduction imposed on Juventus for receiving capital gains for pay was due to the “seriousness and repeated and prolonged nature of the offence”, the Turin club had 30 days to lodge a complaint.
The court is investigating whether an Italian club increased the actual market price of its players in order to gain a higher profit from their subsequent sale (capital gain case) and the deferral of payments to certain players during for the 2020 financial year which were not included in this year’s balance sheet (incorrect information).
Live broadcasts of matches of the Italian championship take place on the federal channel “” and the thematic channels of the holding, as well as on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
