Last Monday, the 2nd, the accounts of former striker Ronaldo Fenômeno were blocked by the Court of Justice of São Paulo due to a debt of R$ 964,000 by the businessman with Liv Drinks Distribuidora de Bebidas, a company that Ronaldo participates as one of the partners. The blockade was at the request of the investment fund Upper.
There is still a request for Ronaldo to appeal the decision, which according to the lawyer, João Helio Santos Renner, who represents the investment fund in the case, there is a confusion of assets and misuse of purposes by the former player. Phenomenon’s advisory said it will not comment at the moment and will try to take the appropriate measures.
Ronaldo is currently the owner of Cruzeiro, after buying the Minas Gerais club in 2021 and rebuilding Raposa back in Série A of the Brazilian Championship.
