Fury’s main advantage is dimensions
Former World Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Gvozdyk commented on a possible unification fight between WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC title holder Tyson Fury.
Will Usyk Fury win? I think it’s possible. It won’t be easy for sure because Fury is not Joshua. Tyson will use his strength, size and weight. He knows how to fight. Usyk will win if he is able to outbox him. Alexander is better on his feet, he moves better, but Fury is big. As for me, in this fight the chances are 50/50. But anything can happen. Both fighters are very good.”
Fury and Usyk plan to hold a face-to-face fight for the title of absolute world champion on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium. At the same time, promoter Eddie Hearn believes that the fight will still be held in Saudi Arabia.
The promoter of the Ukrainian Alexander Krasyuk said that the deadline for negotiations with the Fury team would be March 4. The British father, John Fury, is sure that the distribution of the fee should be 60/40 in favor of Tyson, but the Ukrainian side wants 50/50.
