– Season 22/23 I started with Krasnodar, I said to myself: maybe there will be a chance to have playing time. When a newcomer came to my position later, there was a minimal hope of having a chance. Only Krasnodar-2 attracted me to the matches: they have to save themselves in the Premier League. And I needed practice, and in principle in the RPL – that’s how I ended up in Torch.
Fakel must also be saved. The guys here are all hard workers, they work tirelessly. With unity and common energy, we will be able to get out of a difficult situation,” Yakimov said.
In the WORLD RPL ranking, the Voronezh team is in 13th place.
Fakel Voronezh will play with Khimki near Moscow in the 18th round of the Russian football championship.
