PSG footballer accused of rape

French prosecutors have filed formal charges against Moroccan defender Ashraf Hakimi.

Ashraf Hakimi faces prison time. The French Nanterre prosecutor’s office has officially accused the Morocco and PSG national team defender of rape. This was reported by RMC Sport.

It should be noted that on February 26, a 24-year-old girl came to the police and said that Hakimi raped her. But at the same time, he refused to file an official statement, saying that he only wanted to declare this case. The policeman he spoke with turned to the leadership, the prosecutor’s office learned about the case.

According to the alleged victim, on January 16, they started chatting on Instagram. On February 25, the girl went to Ashraf’s house, the footballer called a taxi. The alleged victim claims the football player kissed her on the lips, then lifted her dress and kissed her breast – all of which he did, despite the girl’s protests. He also accused her of penetrating him with his fingers, which she also did not agree to.

The would-be victim managed to free himself from Hakimi by kicking him. Then he wrote to a friend who took him.

Today, 24-year-old Hakimi was heard by investigators on Thursday, March 2, after which the investigating judge charged the soccer player. The player was placed under judicial supervision. He is forbidden to contact the girl who accused him of a crime, but he can leave French territory.

It was previously reported that Hakimi’s wife Hiba Abruk had divorced him amid rape rumours. The couple has two children.
