Ukrainian women’s handball team lost in sparring Romania — 24:29.

The Ukrainians lost the first half of the meeting without a chance – 11:17. The second game was left for Ukraine, which managed to win back one goal difference from rivals. Tomorrow, March 4, the teams will hold the second sparring (beginning at 17:30 Kyiv time).

Recall that next month the blue-yellows will fight with North Macedonia for a ticket to the 2023 World Cup. The first game of the second qualifying round will take place on April 8, the second leg is scheduled for April 11.

Recall that in the first round of qualification, Ukraine defeated Luxembourg in a two-match confrontation. The Blue-Yellows got two confident wins – 36:13 and 30:11.

The World Handball Championship among women’s national teams will take place in December 2023 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
