Dachnikov’s mentor initially wanted to sign a full-fledged contract with the player
Head coach Fulham Marco Silva said the club should be ready to fight for the winger Solomon’s Manor during the summer transfer window.
“We must be ready to compete in the market so as not to lose it. We made this decision as a club, now we need to be ready. We tried to sign him to a permanent contract. For many reasons, which do not need to be discussed now, this was not possible.
“Solomon was one of the first targets for me. Now we need to wait for the right moment to talk to him again to find out what the decision will be.”
“But that’s not what we’re focusing on right now. It is not for me and Manor not to solve this situation. We are focused on the next game,” the coach said.
Solomon’s contract belongs to Shakhtar, the Israeli plays in Fulham on loan. Earlier it was reported that Dachnikov want to buy the player and are ready to offer the winger a full-fledged contract for 4-5 years.
Fulham are seventh in the Premier League. In the next round, Dachnikov will play with Brentford on March 6.
