The goalkeeper continues to recover from a fracture
Goalkeeper Bayern Manuel Neuer spoke about the recovery process after a fracture of the lower leg.
“Every day it gets better – we are constantly increasing the intensity and the leg feels good. Keep up the pace!”, — wrote the goalkeeper in social networks.
Recall that the German broke his lower leg while skiing. Neuer was successfully operated on, but this season the experienced goalkeeper will no longer play.
This season, the 36-year-old goalkeeper has played 16 matches for Bayern in all competitions – in seven meetings, Manuel managed to keep the net dry. Neuer also played three matches at the 2022 World Cup for the German national team, but ended his performance at the tournament after the group stage.
Bayern are second in the Bundesliga, 3 points behind Borussia Dortmund and having played a match less. Munich will play Stuttgart on 4 March next. The meeting starts at 19:30 Kyiv time.
