Several clubs are interested in the Ukrainian, but there is no talk of signing a contract yet
Executive Director of Dnepr-1 Andrey Rusol commented on the possible transition of the striker Artem Dovbik in Torino.
It was reported that Torino is ready to pay 12-15 million euros for the Ukrainian, but, according to Rusol, there is no specifics on the transfer yet.
“I would not say that he is close to the transition. There is some interest from a number of clubs, including Torino. But the situation is still far from signing a contract,” Rusol admitted.
“All the players, including Artem, are waiting for some kind of understanding and clarity about the next Ukrainian championship. And when we understand something, we will communicate with every player, including foreign players, and decide who will stay with us and who will leave the team.”
“15 million for Dovbik? So far, the process has not reached the discussion of any specific figures. The task of supporting oneself by selling players has not yet been set, but his potential transfer could bring a fairly round amount to the treasury.
Last season, Dovbik scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 18 Dnipro-1 matches across all competitions.
The 2021/22 season in Ukraine was ended ahead of schedule due to a full-scale Russian invasion. Dnipro-1 finished third in the championship and qualified for the Europa League.
