The Brazilian has not played since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine
Shakhtar winger Pedrinho admitted that he could continue his career in his native Brazil.
The 24-year-old is currently looking for a new club after the Russian invasion forced him to leave the Pitmen’s location.
“When the war started, the season ended in Europe and began in Brazil. Therefore, everything happened very quickly, there was little time. So I decided to discuss it with my manager, see what happens next. Now it’s worth the wait, we can’t make a hasty decision,” Pedrinho said.
“I am very calm. Wherever I go, I want to play my football, be it Europe or Brazil. Every player dreams of moving to Europe, but I don’t see a problem in staying in Brazil.”
Last summer, Shakhtar paid 18 million euros for the transfer of Pedrinho from Benfica. The Brazilian played 18 matches for the Donetsk team and scored four goals.
In April, it was reported that Wolverhampton were in talks to sign the winger.
The last season in the championship of Ukraine was finished ahead of schedule. Shakhtar were in first place in the standings and received a direct ticket to the group stage of the next Champions League.
