Defender of Moscow CSKA Egor Noskov told that he had mixed feelings about the main team’s debut in the Russian Championship, as he wanted to achieve a winning result.
On Sunday, the Army team lost to Sochi on the road in the WORLD RPL Round 18 game – 0:2. For Noskov, who signed a contract with CSKA this winter, the game was the first for the main team. The 19-year-old defender came out in the starting lineup and spent the entire game on the pitch.
– The game was difficult on difficult and very soft ground. Somehow, maybe I should have played better. Somehow he didn’t play the way he wanted. The disallowed goal broke us a lot, even though it shouldn’t be. Sochi took the initiative, catching us on our own mistakes and counterattacks. I was not happy with the match in the first half: we had to be more daring, take more risks and go on the attack. In the second, he has already freed himself, somewhere it started to work. But still dissatisfied with the delivery of the ball into the penalty area. The pitches were bad – there are reasons for this, but these are excuses, – said Noskov.
– Despite the result, did the team congratulate you on your debut?
– Yes, the team congratulated, saying that all the best is yet to come.
– Earlier you said that signing a contract with CSKA was a holiday for the family. Can a first match be qualified as a public holiday?
– From a certain point of view, looking to the future, I will remember this day with a smile, but today the feelings are twofold: a historic day for me, but I would rather play and win.
CSKA after 18 rounds of the Russian championship with 29 points takes fifth place in the standings.
