Sports director of “Orenburg” Dmitry Andreyev told RB Sport that the team got everything they could from the deal to sell striker Vladimir Sychev.
During the last winter transfer window, Sychevoi moved from Orenburg to Samara Wings of the Soviets for 100 million rubles and changed his surname to Pisarsky.
– We basically took him out of Omsk. There was not a very correct situation, so I contacted him directly, explained everything, he accepted and took the tickets. When it came to talking about the contract, he and the agent wanted to include a minimum indemnification clause. We were able to increase this amount to 35 million, which was a good sum for the FNL.
When he started scoring and we wanted to renew the contract, he could say: “Guys, fuck you, now in the winter I’m going to take it and leave for that money.” The ball was not on our side. For you to understand, we started the contract extension process exactly the day after he scored three goals. We negotiated for a month and a half. Therefore, I cannot say that 100 million is not enough. Of course, I would like more. But we got everything we could out of this situation,” Andreev said.
On March 10, Orenburg will visit Sochi. Departure is at 7:00 p.m. Moscow time. Krylya Sovetov will face CSKA on March 14 at 4:30 p.m. Moscow time.
