Gravina: Club budgets need to be healthy. Football calls for help, reforms must not be delayed”

Gabriel Gravina, President of FIGC, is present this morning at the Faculty of Law of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Santa Maria Capua Vetere in a meeting on the topic “Regulation of football games between theory and practice”, issuing several statements on the conditions of Italian football: “The financial statements of a football club must be even better than any other club. Ethics and rules are a fundamental aspect. The economy must take into account the world of football, it is a world that reacts and only it has an impact of 0.58% on the GDP of our country. 20% of young people are FIGC members. Every 55 seconds there is a football match. This is a real industry. it requires proper consideration within this country. In a moment of crisis, the system must be rebuilt, the reform of the championships is an action that can no longer be postponed. We need a sense of responsibility, we need a revolution of one culture to restart the world of football.”
