ex-captain Russian team Roman Chirokov says he didn’t understand the midfielder’s departure Zelimkhan Bakayev of “Spartacus” as a free agent.
On Wednesday, the Red-Whites officially announced the player’s departure.
“I don’t know what happened inside, but for me this departure is incomprehensible. When their students leave, and even in the prime of life, and even having the precedent of Dziuba, it doesn’t is not very good. But if we talk about Zenit, I still don’t see what position he can play there,” RB Sport quoted Shirokov as saying.
Bakaev made his debut in the main team of “Spartak” in 2015, as part of the “red-white”, he won the Cup and the Super Cup of Russia, became the silver and bronze medalist of the national championship.
In total, the 25-year-old midfielder has played 105 games for Spartak, scored 14 goals and made 29 assists.
