Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp tagged team striker Roberto Firmino after the match against Manchester United in the 26th final of the Premier League.
Sunday’s game at Anfield ended in victory liverpool with a score of 7:0. The Brazilian came on and scored one of the goals.
“It was not an easy decision for Bobby, he is a great guy. The reception he has received at the stadium has been absolutely outstanding. I think he scored the goal the stadium wanted the most” , said Klopp, quoted by the press service of Liverpool.
Earlier, it was learned that Firmino will leave the English club on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Brazilian striker joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim in 2015. Since then, he has scored 107 goals and provided 78 assists in 352 games for the club. With Liverpool, Firmino won the league, FA Cup and Super Cup, as well as the Champions League and Club World Cup.
