Moscow Midfielder Lokomotiv Artem Karpukas on the air of the show 8-16 at MATCH PREMIER, he spoke about the importance for the club to win the away match of the 18th round of the WORLD RPL against “Rostov” .
The meeting in Rostov-on-Don ended with the score 3:1 in favor of the guests.
– What was the psychological pressure before the restart of the RPL season?
– I periodically looked at the table on vacation, but recently this is not the case. After “Rostov” emotionally it became much easier. It’s good that we got a confident victory. It gave us strength. We understand that we can do anything.
– How did Dzyuba welcome you to Lokomotiv? Maybe he gave you some kind of “drive”?
– No way, usually. Not named yet. Came to training camp, just said hello – nothing special.
– Is it possible to say that Dziuba is the “king of the locker room”?
“He takes the lead and helps us with that. We have a fairly young team, Dziuba and Smolnikov help us a lot in the dressing room and on the pitch.
— How has your role changed in the new Lokomotiv?
– Certainly not. Whatever is required of me, I try to do. Nothing has changed drastically for me, – said Karpukas on MATCH PREMIER.
A participant in the 8-16 program, Russian coach Alexander Grigoryan, turned to the 20-year-old Lokomotiv soccer player for advice.
“My advice to you is less math, more fun.
“Now the victories will come and there will be more fun,” replied Karpukas Grigoryan.
