Offensive “Paris Saint Germain” Neymar will soon undergo ankle surgery, due to which he will miss three to four months, the club’s press service reports.
PSG medical staff have recommended the Brazilian to undergo ankle ligament repair surgery to avoid a serious risk of recurrence. The operation is expected to be performed in the next few days at a hospital in Doha. Neymar will only be able to return to training with the team after three to four months.
Neymar was injured in February during a French league game against Lille. PSG will face Bayern in the Champions League on March 8 in Munich. The first match of the 1/8 finals ended with the score 1:0 in favor of the German team.
