Former Spartak Moscow coach Andrey Chernyshov explained under what conditions Moscow Lokomotiv striker Artyom Dzyuba will receive a call to the Russian national team, with which Valery Karpin works.
On the eve of the RFU published an extended list for the collection of the national team, which will be held from March 19 to 28 in Novogorsk. It currently has 41 players and no Dziuba. In Saturday’s WORLD RPL game, the Lokomotiv striker scored three goals against Karpin-led Rostov.
– More recently, Benzema did not volunteer for the France team, without him the French became world champions, and Karim is one of the best strikers on the planet. I think in this situation there is a personal problem – Dzyuba and Karpin cannot solve the problems between themselves, so the quality fades.
I doubt Dziuba will be called up to the national team under Karpin. Only if Artyom scores in every RPL round will the public and the RFU management put pressure on Dziuba to be invited to the national team, Chernyshov told Metaratings.ru.
Earlier, the RFU’s communication department told that the RFU and the Iranian Football Federation have agreed on the date for the national teams’ friendly match on March 23 in Tehran.
