The team of Roman Yaremchuk lost in the first match 0:2
Brugge head coach Scott Parker shared his expectations second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League against Benfica.
“We came here with one huge challenge, but the challenge we face gives the team a lot of motivation. We will go out and give everything we have and play at the level that we can play.”
“Firstly, this is a huge challenge for us. If we look back at the first game, I think it was even and tight, and our goal was not counted. In the first match, two of our mistakes decided everything, but for most of that game we were very competitive in all aspects.
Recall that in the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, Benfica defeated Brugge on the road (2: 0). Ukrainian striker Brugge Roman Yaremchuk got into the application for the match, but spent the entire match on the bench.
The return match between the teams will take place on March 7. The game starts at 22:00 Kyiv time.
