As for the challenge of Ilya Pomazun, if I understand correctly, it is not yet the final composition. Apparently, the coaching staff has some vision if they decide to include six goalkeepers in the squad. Again there is a reason – injuries, and now there will be a serious opponent in the control game.
In order not to summon anyone later, we decided to include six Guardians in the expanded list. If that would be the final line-up, then maybe a lot. For an extended list – this is normal, – Gabulov quoted the words “Championship”.
The collection will take place from March 19 to 28 in Novogorsk. National team friendlies will be announced later.
Earlier, the RFU’s communication department told that the RFU and the Iranian Football Federation have agreed on the date for the national teams’ friendly match – March 23 in Tehran. The RFU also informed that the organization had offered the Iraqi Football Federation to organize a friendly meeting of national teams in Sochi.
