In the final of the qualification, the Ukrainian passed Katie Bulter
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko entered the main draw of the tournament WTA 1000 in Indian Wells (USA).
In the final of the qualification, the Ukrainian beat the representative of Great Britain Cathy Bulter in three sets. The meeting lasted two hours and 33 minutes.
The rivals exchanged victories in two sets, and in the third installment Lesa managed to take four games in a row with the score 1:3. During the match, the Ukrainian did not make a single ace, however, she made fewer double faults than Bulter – three against seven.
Tsurenko will become the fourth Ukrainian at the tournament. Note that Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk And Dayana Yastremskaya will also start the tournament in Indian Wells from the main draw.
