A fifa released the official poster of Women’s World Cup 2023, which will be held between July and August, in Oceania. The launch was made this Tuesday, the 7th, simultaneously in New Zealand and Australia; both countries on the continent were chosen to host the biggest football event in the world.
In addition to the official illustration, nine more posters were released by the sport’s highest entity, one for each city that will host the tournament. In Australia, the locations determined were: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. In New Zealand, on the other hand, were chosen: Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Hamilton.
Due to the time zone of the mentioned countries, the launch took place on International Women’s Day (March 8), in a nod to representativeness. “With just 135 days left until the competition begins, this is another wonderful milestone to celebrate”started fatma samourawho holds the position of general secretary of FIFA, in the presentation.
