Team of Ukraine announced lineup for 2023 world figure skating championshipwhich will be held in Japanese Saitama.
Blue-yellow will be represented by five athletes in three disciplines. Ukrainians will not be only in single women’s performances.
The composition of the Ukrainian team:
Men: Kirill Marsak.
Couples: Violetta Serova / Ivan Hobta.
Dancing on Ice: Maria Golubtsova / Kirill Belobrov.
The reserve list included Ivan Shmuratko (men), Sofia Golichenko / Artem Darensky (pairs), Zoe Larson / Andrey Kapran, Maria Panchuk / Nikita Pogorelov (ice dancing).
Earlier, Violetta Serova and Ivan Hobta won bronze in pair skating at the 2023 Junior World Championships in Calgary. Marsak also played at the tournament in Canada.
The 2023 World Cup will take place from 20 to 26 March. The competitions will be opened by performances of couples in the short program.
