Head Coach Italy national team Roberto Mancini told the UEFA press office that Finalissima’s next game against Argentina is a classic of world football.
Italy (winners of Euro 2020) will face Argentina (winners of the Copa América 2021) at Wembley on June 1 in the first-ever Finalissimo.
The finalissima is a joint tournament between UEFA and CONMEBOL, in which the best teams from Europe and South America will compete for the trophy in one game.
– Italy vs Argentina is a classic in world football, many legendary players will be remembered by our game. It will be a great and very interesting match. Too bad we ended up without Chiesa, Immobile, Berardi and Verratti. However, whoever replaces them will have a great game. The Argentina national team is very strong. So are we,” Mancini said.
