Former England midfielder Owen Hargreaves urged PSG to ‘rip their whole project and start over’ after the side were relegated from the Champions League.
The Parisians lost on Wednesday in the return match of the 1/8 finals of the tournament against Bayern Munich (0-2). In the first match on the field of the French team, Bayern also won a victory – 1: 0.
“PSG should tear up their whole project and start from scratch. They have the best pool of young talent in the world. All these guys should play for PSG. They are capable of winning Ligue 1 with these young French players. Add a superstar or two to help the youngsters. There are hardly any young French people in their team, it’s ridiculous”, quotes the Daily Mail Hargreaves.
