Russian referee Sergei Karasev referred to the fact that his colleagues find it difficult to accept the appointment of female referees for the final matches, while there are more qualified male referees.
– The only thing that is not so boring… It’s just hard for male referees to perceive when there are high level judges, but the girl wins the final. And they’ve been waiting for this final all their lives. They worked at a very decent level, but didn’t have a single final. Then a girl appears, a year or two has passed – and she already has the final.
No one will talk about it, but everyone is worried. I see when we communicate. No one jumps for joy at such things. And it does not matter whether it is Europe or Russia. It’s my life’s work. I haven’t been named to any final in Europe except the Super Cup, Karasev told the championship.
Karasev in the 19th round of the MIR RPL will work for VAR in the Krasnodar-Dynamo match on March 11.
