Usyk: Mudryk can bring the fourth Ballon d’Or to Ukraine

The boxer sincerely believes in Mikhail’s talent

WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk spoke positively about the transfer of the Ukrainian midfielder Mikhail Mudrik from Shakhtar to Chelsea.

“The cost of the transfer did not shock me. Everything has gone up in price now. I think he’s worth a little over £100m because I’ve been watching this guy.”

“When I first saw him, he was probably playing for the youth team. The hairstyle and tattoos immediately caught my eye.

“He played and I looked at him and I liked him. It seems to me that this guy can bring Ukraine the fourth Ballon d’Or.

Mikhail Mudrik joined Chelsea in January and signed an eight and a half year contract. The Blues introduced their newcomer to Stamford Bridge at half-time in the Premier League matchday 20 clash with Crystal Palace (1-0).

As part of the London club, the Ukrainian midfielder played six matches without scoring goals.

Chelsea are in 10th place in the Premier League standings.
