Offensive “Barcelona” Robert Lewandowski noted that the Catalan club’s style of play must correspond to the realities of modern football.
“Because of Barcelona’s DNA, we have to try to play well, but we also have to understand that football is changing. For example, Barca’s 10-year-old tiki-taka game might not work now. We have to adapt and use what we have to the best of our abilities,” the striker said in an interview with the club magazine.
Barcelona top the current Spanish La Liga standings. Lewandowski has scored 15 goals in 20 La Liga games this season.
