Morocco’s main advantage is the country’s territorial proximity to Spain. According to the portal, Ukraine will probably not be ready to host the matches of the 2030 World Cup. It is clear that the states do not want to take on big expenses, including the construction of new stadiums, but I think that a maximum of two countries is enough to successfully organize a world or European championship. There is a good experience: Belgium – Holland, Korea – Japan, it is more than enough.
However, look how difficult it was to organize the 2002 World Cup in two different countries: different mentality, different requirements. All of this has been difficult, including for the fans. Four countries is generally nonsense. You can say that I am categorically against the combination, especially when it involves three or more countries, Koloskov told a correspondent.
The hosts for the 2030 World Cup will be determined in 2024 at the 74th FIFA Congress.
