Usyk agreed to Fury’s proposal to split the fee “70/30” in favor of the Briton

Alexander demanded 1 million pounds to donate to Ukraine from the “Gypsy King”

Ukrainian WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk accepted offer from WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury about the division of the fee in favor of the British.

“Hey, greedy Puziko! I accept your offer 70/30. Ready to fight April 29 at Wembley. But you promise to donate one million pounds to Ukraine right after the fight. For every day of delay, you pay Ukrainians 1% from your own pocket. Is it going?” Usyk said in a video message.

It was planned that Fury and Usyk will hold a face-to-face fight for the title of absolute world champion on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium. The Ukrainian is actively preparing – there is only one day off in Alexander’s training schedule.

Usyk offered Fury a fee distribution scheme – 60 to 40 in favor of the winner of the fight. Prior to this, Usyk’s side had proposed an equal distribution of income. Tyson announced his readiness to fight in a different scenario – 70/30 in his favor.

The WBA issued an official appeal to both boxers. On March 10 at 17:00 U.S. time, the agreement on the fight between Tyson and Alexander will expire, after which the WBA will bring the fight of the Ukrainian with Daniel Dubois to negotiations.

Briton’s father John Fury is confident that the distribution of the fee should be 60/40 in favor of Tyson, while promoter Frank Warren said that if negotiations for a unification fight between Usyk and Fury are not completed in the near future, he will explore other options for his client. .

Usyk’s promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk at first stated that he was optimistic about the imminent signing of a contract for a unification fight. However, Krasyuk soon changed his mind and said that Fury’s team was not even preparing for the fight.
